Wax removal by Micro Suction is considered a safe and precise procedure compared to other methods of wax removal such as syringing or personal wax removal using ear buds or commercial devices.
The procedure will be performed by a qualified and experienced Audiologist who has been fully trained in this procedure.
Micro Suction is carried out using a high grade surgical microscope to illuminate the ear and magnify the ear canal and ear drum. The procedure is done under direct vision with careful precision so that all the anatomy of the outer ear is protected while the wax is gently removed.
